Miguel is a Vice President, Wealth Manager and Partner at Steward Partners. As a Wealth Manager and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ practitioner, he helps manage assets for individuals, trusts, retirement plans and businesses with The Lopez Investment Team at Steward Partners where the primary focus is to help clients reach their financial goals through the financial planning process. Miguel has worked as a Financial Advisor for almost 30 years and prior to working at Steward Partners, began his career at Legg Mason followed by UBS and Wells Fargo. He graduated from University of Maryland with a degree in Economics.
Miguel grew up locally in Kensington, Maryland. He worked in the hospitality industry during and after graduating college where he began to understand what A+ service was all about, listening. Miguel and his wife Leesa have a home in Lewes, Delaware. They enjoy spending time with family as well as traveling, gardening, volunteering and cooking. Miguel also has a passion for cycling, running and golf. He supports several charitable organizations among them The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, ALS and The First Tee.
